He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Robert Kopp and Rita June Kopp; and his wife Kathy Sue Kopp (Wood). He is survived by : his grandchildren, Taylor Mae Willis, Walter Devrick Willis, Mackenzie Ryann Kopp, Axel Keaton Willis and Cheyenne Rayne Smith; and his great grandchild Zeddicus Orion Gray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
