It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Donald Montgomery (Rockport, Indiana), born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Franklin and Katherine Montgomery (Scherer); his siblings, Dean and Francis Ann; his parents-in-law, Emerson and Ina Mae Roth; and his son-in-law Mark Cowans.

He is survived by : his wife Mellodee; his children, Rod Montgomery Tonia (Paula) and Tanya Cowans; his grandchildren, Ella and Claire Montgomery; and his children, Jed, Casex, MaeLee Ambs, Sadie McCoy, Wyatt, Mellodee and Sofia Cowans. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Spencer County Ambulance Service and /or Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
