It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Evans of Rockville, Indiana, born in Clinton, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Linus "Spud" Evans and Juanita "Katie" Milam Evans; and his brother Joseph "Sonny" Evans. He is survived by : his children, Joseph Evans of Rockville and Madeline Evans of Lodi; his granddaughters, Kerstyn Edington of Tangier and Crystal Cardwell of Lodi; and his siblings, Harold "Harry" Evans of Mecca, Elizabeth "Betty" Coleman of Greene Township and S. Jane Seay of Rockville. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
