He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Newnum and Gladys Newnum (Chapman); and his wife Evelyn Hughes Newnum. He is survived by: his children, Julie McKeighen (Bob) of Tangier, Nick Newnum (Sheila) of Tangier and Doug Newnum (Debbie) of Tangier; and his grandchildren, Jackie Hayden (Dan) of Moscow, Tennessee, Matt McKeighen (Manuela) of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Melanie Miller (Matt) of Tangier, Mike McKeighen (Mandy) of Columbia, Corey Newnum (Natalie) of Tangier, Amanda Patton (Bruce) of Rockville, Jared Newnum (Darcy) of Graysville, Lainey McCrory (Qynn) of Tangier, Ethan Newnum (Elizabeth) of Ladoga, Chelsea Leonard (Alex) of Kingman and Landon Newnum (Kenzy) of Tangier.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gooch Funeral Home (112 W Howard St, Rockville, IN 47872). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rush Creek Worship Center (11025 N Bloomingdale Road, Bloomingdale, IN 47832).
