He was predeceased by: his father John F. Gierke (Jim). He is survived by: his mother Judy Gierke (Rehlander); the mother of his children Marti Ferrell-Gierke; his daughters, Madison Schaible (Colin) and Aubrey Gierke; his siblings, John P. Gierke and Julie Gierke; his nephew Justin Hoke; and his friend Mark Condeni. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughters.
