He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank John and Anna Cecilia Korchnak (Pardus); and his sisters, Dorothy and Therese Korchnak. He is survived by: his wife Pat Korchnak; his children, Christine Paumer (Joel), Marianne Kromkowski (Christopher) and Eric Korchnak (Kristy); his grandchildren, Casey Kormkowski, Alex Kromkowski, Emma Smith, Nathan Check, Anthony Korchnak and Kenzie Korchnak; and his siblings-in-law, Rosemarie and Paul Morowczynski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (1212 South St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Danville National Cemetery (1900 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832).
