He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patterson and Vera Patterson (Hogue); and his brothers, John Patterson and Robert Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Patterson (Rainbolt); his children, Michael Wayne Patterson (Kristi S.) and Penny Jo Ward; his grandchildren, Lacey, Ayla and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Samara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
