With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Anne Johnston of Rosedale, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2026 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Gabbard and Dorothy Gabbard; and her brother Ron Gabbard. She is survived by: her husband Jack R. Johnston; her children, Rob Johnston (Janette) and Roberta Wagner (Paul); her sister Charlotte Watkins; her grandchildren, Diego Johnston, Antonio Johnston, Brianna Johnston, Marco Johnston, Gwen Drake (Matt), Nathan Dugger (Brittney) and Madison Moore (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Colt Drake, Callie Drake, Coby Drake, Chipper Drake, Easton Dugger and Emory Dugger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
