He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Lane and Frances Philabaum Lane; his granddaughter Autumn Joy Lane; and his brother-in-law Harry Ray Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Jan Wagner Lane; his children, David R. Lane (Amanda) of Rosedale and Amy Lane (Brad Scully) of Rosedale; his sister Janet Armstrong of Concord; and his grandchildren, Audrey and Avery Lane.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home (281 N Main St, Rosedale, IN 47874). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
