William, born on August 20, 1942, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stedman and Viola Stedman (Summers); and his siblings, Clara "Ducky" Nelson, Sam Stedman and Everett Stedman.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stedman (Dickison); his children, Tony Ray Stedman (Bobbie), Pam Stedman and Amanda Fields; his granddaughters, Jessica Sears (Zach), Brittany McEnery (Sean) and P. J. Dwigans (Darius); his great grandchildren, Kylee Witt, Zoiee Sears, Kori Sears, Hunter Fitzpatrick, Holden McEnery, Maylyn Hayes and Bob Dwigans; and his sister Shirley Sanders. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Clear Run Cemetery.
