With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry D Rodkey of Rossville, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Larry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Rodkey and Winifred Rodkey (Purcell). He is survived by : his wife Stephanie Bowlin; his daughters, Courtney Lynn of Kansas City, KS and Chloe Elaine of Rossville; and his siblings, Mary Kathleen Rodkey (Jennifer), Virginia "Ginny" Murphy (David) and Fred Rodkey (Karyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Day & Genda Funeral Home~bodine Chapel (450 IN-39, Rossville, IN 46065).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's honor to the funeral home, towards a tree fund to be planted in Larry's memory.
