He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yager and Matilda Yager (Kieffer); his son Kenny; and his siblings, Evelyn Yager, Alice Nobbe, Aaron Yager, Raymond Yager and Henry Yager.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Volk; his children, David Yager, Nancy Newbold (Scott), Patty Moffett (Jim), Sharon Pike (Brad), Steve Yager (Kim), Gary Yager (April), Linda Reed (Ron) and Kelly Connolly; and his siblings, Alberta Neuman (Esther Nieman) of Rushville and Francis Yager (Kathleen) of Rushville.
