He was predeceased by : his parents, Irvin Piper and Laura Jean Lucas (Naden). He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Swartz; his children, Mandi Piper Couch of Greenfield, Patrick Piper of Knightstown and Seth Piper of Knightstown; and his siblings, Evan Piper (Janet) of Rushville and Jane Sparks of Milroy. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
