She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Griffin and Mary Griffin (Borem); and her brother Howard Larry Griffin. She is survived by: her husband Roger Hankins of Rushville; her daughters, Melissa Legere of Rushville and Melinda Benefield (Jeremy) of Connersville; her siblings, David Griffin (Marilyn) of Piqua, OH, Phil Griffin (Robin) of St. Paul, Greg Griffin of Rushville and Sandy Gruell (Terry) of Osgood; her grandchildren, Daniel Gurley (Hailey), Ashley Combs, Cory Tungate, Jessica Hauk (George) and Elizabeth Tungate; and her great grandchildren, Leo, Gracie "Lou" and Remi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Church of God (1200 US-52, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God in Rushville.
