She was predeceased by : her parents, John Clinton and Beaulah Hubbell (Kerschner); her husband Charles D Simpkins; and her siblings, Everett Hubbell, Kermit Hubbell and Alma Dinsmore.

She is survived by : her children, Janice Morris (John) of Pendleton, Phyllis Jane LaFollette of Noblesville, James Simpkins (Debra) and Michael Simpkins (Karen); her grandchildren, John LaFollette, David LaFollette, Andrew Simpkins (Julie) and Amanda Wallace; and her sister Mary Winks of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
