With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald L. Fields of Rushville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fields and Vina Fields (Lewis); and his siblings, Eugene Fields, Loretta Chatham (Dana), Ervin Fields, Kenneth Fields (Donna), Curtis Fields, Greg Fields and Frieda Knight.

He is survived by: his children, Nita Fields (Terry) of Rushville, Jerry Fields (Amy) of Union County, Shane Fields (Catrina) of Manilla and Misty Fields (Chris) of Rushville; his siblings, Audrey Fields (Barry) of Cross Plains and Oliver Fields of Rushville; his grandchildren, Ashley Woods (Andrew), Bryce Fields (Adriana), Blake Fields, Brooke Fields, Emma Hedrick, Abby Hedrick, Seth Fields, Payton Gant, Parrish Gant, Sean Haynes and Charity Haynes; his great grandchildren, Aysen and Adler Woods; and his grandchildren, Lainey and Harper Wilson.
