She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Alice Mae Hankins Jarman; her husband James Adams; and her sons-in-law, William Gilpin and Scott Southerland.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Carey of Greensburg, IN, James Adams (Angie) of Greensburg, IN, Ann Southerland of Rushville, IN and Linda Trout (Jim) of New Salem, IN; and her brother Donald Jarman (Regina) of Milroy, IN.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
