He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Childers and Lou Ellen Childers (Buchanan); and his brothers, Darin and Todd Childers. He is survived by : his stepchildren, Rachel Wainscott (Michael) of Shelbyville, Jerry Pogue of Rushville and James Pogue of Shelbyville; and his siblings, Rick Childers of New Palestine, Robert Childers (Jenny) of Georgia, Tammy Headlee (Jerry) of Shelbyville, Fred Childers Jr. of Rushville and Monita Emrich (Phil) of Columbus. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren.
