She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Frederick and Christena Frederick (McCreary); her husband Robert M. Miller; her children, Dennis David Miller and Karen Sue Scott; and her siblings, Norman, James Frederick and Patricia Dawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Thompson (Mike) of Greenfield; her children-in-law, Yolanda "Lannie" Sue Miller of Knightstown and Dan Scott of Homer; and her grandchildren, Kristena Scott (Travis Weitzel), Kamille Herbert (Mark), Marcus Scott (Kelli), Josh Wall (Lane), Kayla Perry (Jason Nowell) and Klaryssa Fair (Jake). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marian's memory to Main Street Christian Church or the Rushville Animal Shelter.
