He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd A. Cole and Von Cole (Gardner); his wife Roberta Sue Martin; and his brother Edwin Cole. He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Ging of Rushville, Pamela Guzman (Jose) of Fort Wayne and Kate Kuhn (Stephen) of Milroy; his grandchildren, Cole Ging (Chelsea) of Rushville, Schuyler "Skip" Ging (Liz) of Rushville, Jose, Miguel Guzman of Fort Wayne, Carlie and Claire Kuhn of Milroy; his great grandchildren, Rylie, Graham Ging of Rushville and Leland Ging of Rushville; and his close friend Linda Chandler of Milroy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rush Memorial Hospital, Diabetes Foundation, the National Rifle Association, or the Big Flatrock Christian Church.
