He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice W. Kuhn and Kathryn Kuhn (Purcell); his son Walter "Bo" Kuhn; his grandson Kevin Scott Kuhn; his great grandchild Karigan Ging; and his siblings, Maurice W. Kuhn Jr., Barbara Kay Rogers and Nancy Lee Crousore.

He is survived by: his wife Judy of Rush County; his children, Kevin E. Kuhn (Patty), Kember Kuhn (Mindy) and Kathy Ging (Kimber) of Rush County; his daughter-in-law Robin Kuhn; his brother Jimmy Kuhn of North Carolina; and his sister-in-law Pam Kuhn of Rushville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
