It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raleigh E. Cox Jr. (Rushville, Indiana), born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raleigh E., Sr. and Lona V. Cox (Flick); and his siblings, Roy, Charles, Richard, Bill, Robert Paul, Georgiana, Thelma, Virginia, Julia, Mary Lou and Kathy.

He is survived by : his wife Mahila Burch of New Lisbon; his children, Jason E. Cox (Karen) of Rushville and Angela Renee Crone (Jeff) of New Lisbon; and his grandchildren, Cameron Cox (Lilli Spaeth), Adam Cox (Morgan Adkins), Christy Crone, Karla Debruler (Brad) and Brad Crone (Danielle). He is also survived by 6 step great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or to Henry County Hospice.
