He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Clara Belle Abrams Sr. (Warwick); his son Jeffrey Abrams; his brothers, Terry, Larry, Sonny and Randy; his brothers-in-law, Bob Klump, Kenneth Pennington, Donnie Walker and Rodney Koontz, Sr.; his sisters, Sue McFall, Marjorie Walker, Dorothy Pennington and Ruby Klump; and his in-laws, Raymond and Mabel Koontz.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his children, John C. Abrams of Rushville, Jane Abrams of Rushville, Joan Carris (Jose Rivera) of Rochester, NY and Judy Allen (Gary) of Rushville; his daughter-in-law Misty Abrams of Rush County; his siblings, Marion Abrams (Terri) of Connersville and Sharon Walker of Rushville; his sister-in-law Bonita Abrams; his grandchildren, Kevin Carris (Alaina), Michelle Carris, Jennifer Carris, Cody Abrams, Katilyn Abrams and Cheyenne Allen; and his great grandchild Cooper James Carris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moster Mortuary (334 N Main St, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Waters of Rushville or the donor's charity of choice.
