It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William V. McCarty of Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin McCarty and Florence McCarty (Hatfield); his wife Eleanor (Bednarski); his children, William McCarty and Pam Tellas; and his siblings, Philip McCarty, Mary Robertson, Shelia Cross, Opal Deloris Frazier and Lou Foster.

He is survived by : his children, Thomas McCarty (Kim) and Cheryl Kinslow (Douglas) of Morristown; and his siblings, John McCarty (Onita), Charles Ray "Butch" McCarty (Janet), Charlotte Stevens, Phyllis Frazier and Blanche "Bonnie" Glover. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
