With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Dan Mitchell of Russiaville, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mitchell and Mildred Mitchell (Holder); and his sister Kay Horsman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mitchell (Bass); his children, Matthew Mitchell (Michelle), Jennifer Marbach (Jon) and Melinda Jo Meacham (George); his grandchildren, Molly Mitchell, Mary Mitchell, Maria Mitchell, Courtney Butler (Grant), Caleb Marbach, Brice Meacham and Connor Joe Meacham; and his siblings, David Renny Mitchell (Jane), Gary Mitchell, Sallie Kelly (Max) and Joyce Morrow. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
