She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Lechner and Mathilda Lechner (Sermersheim); her former husband John Buechler of Joseph's Catholic Church; her husband Preceding; her son-in-law David Hoppenjans; her grandson Larry Dennis Griggs, Jr.; and her siblings, Alberta Renner, Bernie Schnell, Delores Schuler, Geanie Hasenour, Patricia "Pat" Weisheit, Wilfred, Edward, Tom and Donnie Lechner.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Hoppenjans of Ferdinand, IN, Sherry Fischer (Kevin), Joe Buechler (Kateri) of Ferdinand, IN, Sue Griggs (Sam Partida) of Cape Coral, FL and Jay Buechler. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or to the Dubois County Humane Society.
