Shantz in Saint Anthony, Indiana, born in Lawrence, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey R. Miller and Mary Amelia Miller (Detweiler); her husband Melvin Shantz; her children, Gloria Loken and David Shantz; and her siblings, Virginia Hess, Norma Shantz and Marvin Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Tim J. Shantz (Susan) of Weatherford, Lyn King (Joel) of Campbell and Anita Anderson (Tommy) of Thomas; her son-in-law Tom Loken of Thomas; and her sisters, Geraldine Schwartz of Pennsylvania and Rudelle Matthews of Ohio. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
