He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sage and Katherine Sage (Hild); and his sister Susan Fagan (Sage). He is survived by: his children, Jason P. Sage (Beth) of Raleigh, NC, Jon L. Sage (Jenny) of Charlotte, NC and Vicki A. Metzger (Matt) of Lafayette, IN; his grandchildren, Matt Sage (Haley), Nikki Sage, Austin Sage, Bobby Metzger, Joey Metzger, Kati Metzger and Sami Metzger; and his sisters, Molly Sage of Monticello, IN and Sally Cooper of Lafayette, IN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens (1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
