With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Flanagan of Saint John, Indiana, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother John "Jack" Flanagan. He is survived by : his children, Mollie Bednarek and Michael Flanagan (Melissa); his grandchildren, Meghan Bednarek (Joseph Lund), Adam Bednarek, Emily Flanagan and Ryan Flanagan; and his sister Mary Flanagan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Disabled American Veterans in his memory would be appreciated.

“A kind and fun loving man. A generous fun loving spirit made the people around him feel loved. I remember when him and his brother came to visit me in Colorado stationed in The Air Force. That meant a lot to me for them to come out there. I will never forget.”
