Maria Dolores Alfaro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Dolores Alfaro of Saint John, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Baldomero Tijerina Ortega and Alicia Mendoza Ortega; and her brothers, Jorge Ortega and Raymond Juan Ortega. She is survived by: her husband Raul Alfaro; her siblings, Baltimore F. Ortega (Laura), Jose Ortega and Yolanda Ortega (Martin Romero); and her nieces, Bertha Henderson and Olivia Romero-Ortega. She is also survived by great-niece and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Maria's memory to: The ALS Association Indiana Chapter or ALS United Greater Chicago, organizations that were close to Maria's heart.
