She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob Boss; her parents, Raymond Goberville and Margaret Goberville; and her siblings, Raymond Goberville and Elenor Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Boss of Crown Point, IN, Sheila Corbin (Robert) of Crown Point, Jacob Boss (Andrea) of Hobart, IN, Michael Boss (Cheryl) of St. John and Shannon Dumbsky (James) of Crown Point; her grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Melissa, Holly, Mark, Ryan, Andrew, Matthew and Jacob; her stepgrandchildren, Trevor and Janice; her brother Dr. Thomas Goberville; and her pet Riley. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Maureen's name to Southern Care Hospice, Hobart Humane Society, or Humane Society of Northwest Indiana.
