Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stewart and Ada McClellan Stewart; her husband Richard Ford; and her siblings, Marion Stewart, Anna Ruth Graham, Mary Frances Noland and Carolyn Bernice Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Ford (Kristen), Timothy Joe Ford (Sheryl), Kelly Ford-Ferminella (Steve) and Michael Ford (Gina); and her sister Bonnie Jean Jolly. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, as well as 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home (107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
