He is survived by: his significant other Walter Wachel; his brothers, Gene Evancic (Deb) and Ken Evancic (Jennifer); his nieces, Jennifer Dobrowlski (Steve), Melissa DiDonato (John), Ashlee Head (Michael) and Sydney Evancic; his nephew Tyler Evancic; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lily Head, Harlow Mae Evancic, Penny Lillian Evancic, Ryan Dobrowlski, Noah DiDonato and Madden Eugene Evancic; his close friend Cindlu Steinhauer; and his pets, Lola, Sadie, Ramona and Omar.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whiting Animal Shelter or the "Friends of the Library" at Whiting Library.
