She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Keeton and Bessie Dawson Keeton; her former life partner Conrad Skaggs; her husband Estill Ray Wood; her son Terry Skaggs; and her siblings, Rowena Elizabeth Farrell and Lowell Breckenridge Keeton.

She is survived by : her son Timothy Skaggs of St. John, IN; and her siblings, Violet Fannin, Paul Keeton (Carolyn), Danny Keeton (Linda), Rachel Denise Vanoss (Greg) and Douglas Powell Keeton (Belinda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
