He is survived by: his significant other Pam Vaal (Weedman); his stepchildren, Crystal Parker (Jeremy) and Anthony Patmore (Audrey); his stepgrandchildren, Colin (Tori), Keenan, Breana, Amity, Anderson, Zaden (Addi), Siera, Bentley, Bralin, Aria and Kannon; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Xzavier, Jaxstyn, Haiden and Hadlee; and his siblings, David Vaal (Tricia) of Santa Claus and Brenda Smith (Michael) of Haubstadt.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Meinrad Fire Department.
