He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Brueggemann (Wallace); his mother Elizabeth; Otto. He is survived by: his nephews, Phil Brueggemann of Tucson, AZ and Mark Brueggemann (Karen) of Grafton, WI; his great-nieces, Alison Pipkorn (Nathan) and Katie Dickison (Mitch); Elena and Wyatt.

The family suggests that memorials be given to St. Paul Munster Lutheran Church and School for ministry focused endowment.
