He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Howard and Lydia Clem Howard; and his siblings, Gary Howard, Ernie Howard, Johnny Howard, Roger Howard and Daisy Sample.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Howard; his children, Jason Benn Howard of Salem, Holly Jill Howard of Salem and Heidi Beth Davidson (Andy) of Paoli; his siblings, Hubert Howard, Ewell Howard, Hulen Howard, Neil Howard, Mark Howard, Barbara and Joan; and his grandchildren, Jacob Howard, Wyatt Chastain, Jadon Powers, Talon Powers, Lucion Powers and Eden Davidson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
