It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl Duane Lawson Sr. of Salem, Indiana, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, Issac "Butch" Lawson of Pennington Gap and Berniece Murray Stevens of Louisville; his sons, Leon "Alex" Coats of Scottsburg and Duane Lawson Jr. of Scottsburg; his close friend Sandy Durham Shields of Salem; his daughter Brionna Shields of Scottsburg; and his brother Kyle Lawson (Jennifer) of Campbellsburg.
