We announce the death of Dedera England of Salem, Indiana, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 81. Dedera will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Gilstrap and Bertha Gilstrap; her son Bobby England; and her siblings, Jesse Gilstrap, Jeff Gilstrap and Vickie Weidman.
She is survived by: her children, Tad England and Tammy Motsinger (Steven); her sister Jaulita Walther (Chris); her grandchildren, Dakoda England, Stevie Motsinger (Whitney) of Seth Motsinger, W. K, Goen, Josh Motsinger (Jill), Lindsey Brough (Brandon) and Kacie Kauffman (Joel); and her great grandchild Frenchie Pennington.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Franklin Cemetery.
