With sadness, we share the passing of Donna Joy Nixon of Salem, Indiana. Donna, born on December 15, 1944, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Luckett and Josephine Grace Luckett (Moore); her husband William R. "Bill" Nixon; and her son Ronald Arney. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Arney, Michael Arney (Sadie) and Joseph Arney; her daughter-in-law Carrie Arney; her stepchildren, Jed Nixon (Kim), Amber McIninch (Kevin) and Andrew Nixon (Amanda); her grandchildren, Phillip, Paul, Levi, Addy, Josie, Christian, Tosha, Alyssa, Trent, Raven, Kyle and Hannah; and her sisters, Carol Orff and Margie Bolt. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home (5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46221). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
