She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Young and Sarah Ann Buchanan Young; her husband Melvin Stephenson; her siblings, Virgil, Lawrence, Richard, Herbert, Jim Young, Lucile Burns, Grace Kesser and Mary Webb; and her grandson Todd Reno.
She is survived by: her children, Blair Stephenson (Charlene) of Irving, TX, Sarah (Tommy), Martin of Salem, IN, Mary Kniffen (Billy) of Menard, TX, Susan (Greg), Reno of Duncanville, TX, Cheryl Faucett (Bobby) of Godley, TX and Eric Stephenson (Diana) of Gallatin, TN. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
