He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Porter and Margaret Jessie Ferber Porter; his wife Anna; his children, Randy Porter and Carol Ann Porter; his great grandchild Meleek Mitchell; and his siblings, Elmer Porter, Virgil Porter, Gerald Porter, Walter Porter, Marie Vaught, Agnus White and Beatrice Milligan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Mitchell (Lonnie) of Salem and Diana Jarvis; his siblings, Leonard Porter (Donna) of Mitchell and Mary Frances Clipp (Joe) of Columbus; his grandson Eric Mitchell (Sabrina); his great grandchildren, Paxtin Mitchell, Brayden Westfall and Emma Westfall; and his pet Dolly.
