It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Vernie Nicholson of Salem, Indiana, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Manker Nicholson and Phoebe Metzger Nicholson; his wife Kathleen Stegner Davis; and his siblings, Millard Nicholson, Willard Nicholson, James Irvin Nicholson, Arthur Frances Nicholson, Russell Nicholson, Lenna Ruth Hampton, Mary Shouse, Doris Bierley, Joyce Medlock and Violet Lou White.

He is survived by : his stepchildren, Frank Roger Davis of Yuma and Sheryl Price (Robert) of Bloomington; his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Price (Cherie) of Florida and Christy Pagano (David) of Georgia; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Trajan Pagano and Samara Pagano.
