He was predeceased by: his parents, Soloman "Sollie" Sherron and Vivian Beatrice Coleman Sherron; his sister Phyllis Hale; his in-laws, Charles and Crystal McNeely; his brothers-in-law, James "Jim" Hale and Frank Nobles; and his pet Beecher.

He is survived by: his spouse Ree Ann McNeely; his sister Glenda Nobles; his sons, Eric Sherron Salem (Pam) and Josh Sherron Pekin (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Dylan Sherron, Spencer Gilstrap, Becca Sherron and Jack D Sherron.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dawalt Funeral Home (204 E Market St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
