She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Leo Sheffel and Edna V. Sheffel (Waymire); her husband John Stahl Jr.; her son Terry L. Walters; and her sister Carol Oaks.

She is survived by : her children, Penny Chandler (Billy) of Salem, Joseph Walters (Karla) of Union City and Mark Walters of Salem, Indiana. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
