With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Cole in Salem, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Puckett and Margaret Puckett (Lyon); her husband Frank Cole; her siblings, Betty Puckett and Bob Puckett; and her close friend Jack Bills.
She is survived by: her children, Debby Stout (David) of Seymour, IN, Leslie Cole of New Albany, IN and Julia Hodges (Kirk) of Bowling Green, KY.; and her grandchildren, Emily (Stout), Jackson (Mike) of Westfield, IN, Meghan (Stout) and Swan (Clint) of Zionsville, IN. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
