He was predeceased by: his parents, David Unruh and Justine Unruh (Janzen). He is survived by: his wife Eileen Unruh of Hillsboro; his daughter Lisa Herbel (Glen) of Highlands, Colorado; and his granddaughters, Abigail and Hayley Herbel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jost Funeral Home and Crematory (401 S Washington St, Hillsboro, KS 67063). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church (1498 Kanza, Hillsboro, KS 67063).
