He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Tipton and Mamie Ellen Kappel Tipton; his grandson Dakota Tipton; and his siblings, Dorris Belcher, Bobby Tipton, Johnny Tipton, Bruce Tipton and Billy Ray Tipton.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Tipton of Chicago, IL; his children, Timothy Tipton of Salem and Tammy Brawand of Louisville, KY.; his granddaughter Sierra Tipton of Salem; and his sister Linda Pinkston of Florida.
