He is survived by: his mother Ruth Eloise Hayes Shelby; his siblings, Keith Shelby (Barbara) of Salem and Melanie Overall (Ben) of Powell, Tennessee.; and his siblings' children, Madison Grant (Tim), Claire Journell (Chris), Brandon Overall and Evan Shelby (Kelsey). He is also survived by niece and nephew.
