He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Simpson and Judith Ann Roberts Simpson; and his sister Brenda Sue Wolford. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Allen Simpson (Samantha) of Scottsburg, Joshua Ray Simpson of Salem, Jon Worley of Harrodsburg, Jenna Hillenburg (Joe) of Springville, IN and Samantha Simpson of Pekin; his siblings, Robert Wayne Simpson of Seymour, Donald Lee Simpson (Patricia) of Salem, Frankie Allen Simpson Seymour (TJ), June Annette Kinzie (Michael) of South Carolina, Lisa Ann Saylor (Dan) of Hayden Indiana and Karen Jean Waggoner of Salem; and his grandchildren, Ava Simpson, Abbi Simpson, Khloe Crane, Macie Crane, Benjamin Simpson, Luke Simpson and Adalynn Nicholson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Hope United Methodist Church (4957 W State Rd 60, Salem, IN 47167). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church (4957 W State Rd 60, Salem, IN 47167).
